Window Therapy opened its doors in East Rockaway in 2015, but our experience in the window-treatment business goes back much further.
For co-owners and siblings Eric Fiebert and Mindy Rosen, window treatments have been part of the family for more than four decades. In 1981, their father purchased Kingsboro Home Products, an established window-treatment store on Third Avenue in Brooklyn. Eric, who was 17 at the time, and Mindy both joined the family business that same year.
That is where they learned the business from the ground up – working with customers, learning the products, measuring, ordering and making sure the finished job was done properly.
Kingsboro Home Products remained the family business until 2003, when their parents retired and the store closed. Years later, Eric and Mindy decided to go into business together again. In 2015, they opened Window Therapy in East Rockaway.
They started small – just the two of them, a storefront and decades of experience between them. Today, Window Therapy has grown to a team of approximately 12 people serving customers throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Queens and Brooklyn.
Even as Window Therapy has grown, Eric and Mindy remain involved in the business every day.
